Is it safe to order personal checks online when the company is asking you for your social security number?
is it safe to order personal checks online when the company is asking for your social security number, birthday or a voided check to verify your checking account?
I order my checks online and they've NEVER asked for my SSN. Beware. It is, however, valid to provide a voided check so they can confirm your account.

Depends on the company.
I have ordered on line from Artistic, Checks In the Mail and Checks Unlimited without any problems.

Get the free checks your bank provides.
Also, pay your bills online from your bank, you'll only write 1 or 2 checks a month and you'll save $4 a month in stamps.
