To apply Feng Shui the correct way, you need to know the orientation of the house. When applying it to a bedroom, you need to know in which sector of the house the bedroom is. If you give more information (direction of house, house plan, year of construction and your birthdate), I can tell you more using the 8 Mansions and the Flying Stars systems of Feng Shui, which are the most accurate.
Once you have this information, it is possible to decide where to place everything. You can also find all information about Feng Shui here (theory, glossary, calculators, courses)

good job start the year off right with feng shui! One tip is if you have a plant don’t keep it to close to your bed they give off energy and could create a restless night sleep. Add items to your room that give you comfort like candles that have a scent you love. place photos of happy memories or places you would like to visit when your done with school.
I would recommend you get a Feng Shui for Career Kit that would be the best way to apply feng shui into your room.
