Quick update: The …
Quick update: The people who live in this apartment moved the reflective painting above the bed and the metal light has also been moved. They report better sleep and more restful nights. Many thanks for watching and commenting!
What exactly do you …
What exactly do you mean by energy? By definition, energy is the capability to do work. What you refer to is a pseudoscience lie that only increases consumption and materialism. Your things own you. If you truly desire relaxation, start with substance, not crystals.
Many, many thanks! …
Many, many thanks! Your thoughtful comments are very much appreciated.

glad to hear that.keep on produce good work for people.I would support you.
I agree with you! …
I agree with you! The couple wound up moving their bed over to the left and avoiding the beam altogether. Much better sleep results; less oppressiveness for the sleeper under the beam, too. Thank you for watching and commenting! Best regards, Jay
I love to agreed …
I love to agreed with you but I can’t totally accept, due to some reason.
First of all, the overhead beam, I know some gurus use to said you could use the crystall to allievate the beam affect but in actual facts it is no. I’m sad to see modern world try to solve the feng shui problem with some “sliver bullet”.
But it is nothing wrong with the “student”,
because these where they been taught.
Mike, thanks so …
Mike, thanks so much for watching! LOL The blue hand IS like Thing, isn’t it? I never thought of that. It’s actually a gl sculpture that probably was once a display item — a glove probably fit onto the hand on a department store counter. But now I’m going to think about a gl hand that comes to life at night and strangles unwitting sleepers!!!
everything is …
everything is tranquille but the hand sculpture reminds me of adams family whoa
LOL!!! The picture …
LOL!!! The picture over the bed gets a zillion negative comments, that’s for sure. The folks in this apartment say they have a very secure “double molly” anchoring system for their picture. “It won’t come down unless there’s an earthquake that shatters the wall.” The tiger pillow has been moved to another room since this vid was taken, replaced by a soft pillow without any pattern or figures on it. Thanks much for watching! Best, Jay
It’s all fun and …
It’s all fun and games until that picture lands on your face in the middle of the night and you’re mashed face to face with a tiger pillow
Thanks for watching …
Thanks for watching! Fortunately, a bed is more portable than a toilet, so you can experiment a bit! Try the bed on the left wall for a week + keep a sleep diary. Move the bed on the wall with your main door (with space for your bed + 1 or 2 end tables to the side of your door); keep the sleep diary for another week. Which was better? But please try the right wall, too — my take is that this may be the best spot yet, as you want to focus mostly on the main entry door and your bed. Good luck!
I enjoyed your …
I enjoyed your video and would like some advice if you have time. My bedroom has windows on the wall opposite the entrance door and on the far right wall there is a second door to a balcony. where should I position my bed? if i put it against the left wall it is in front of the door. should i put it on the same wall as the door ?
Hi, Nancy! Thanks …
Hi, Nancy! Thanks for your comment. In the post just below, I made the point that intent is oftentimes more powerful than following a metaphysical rule book. In this case, the couple in the apartment like to bring in family and other photos into their bedroom when they want to include loved ones in their dreams; their adult children, especially, are many miles distant, and this helps them “keep in touch.” My opinion? Experiment. See what works for you. Thanks again for watching! Best, Jay
The couple in this …
The couple in this apartment went to China and purchased the dragon, and the stones were collected during world travels. The crystal is a good ocular crystal, but any crystal will do. The key is intent. Like prayer, one’s focus and intention on making a room as beautiful, healthful, and conducive to life as possible is perhaps more important than following some kind of feng shui “rule book.” Good luck to you! Best, Jay

hii from where did u get those stones and dragon , what kind of stones are they ?, and the crystal is it of a certain kind ?
You’re most welcome …
You’re most welcome — and good luck! Make changes and additions, live with them, then adjust them until they feel “just right.” Feng shui is all about experimenting and observing the results of your experiments.
You’re technically …
You’re technically right! A picture could fall on your head while you sleep. Many modern feng shui practitioners are in favor of tailoring solutions to homeowners and their personalities. So this apartment’s couple loves Cape Town, South Africa, and wanted a restful picture of Table Mountain above their bed to inspire good dreams. It was affixed with extra-strong mollies in the wall to prevent falling. The couple report peaceful nights of slumber. Thanks for watching!

thank you for your advice!
correct me if im …
correct me if im wrong but according to feng shui you arent supposed to have pictures above your bed are you?
A good overhead …
A good overhead light without sharp points or anything spikey (rounder shapes are best), pair of bedside lights on end tables or night stands on either side of the bed for reading, lights should be on a dimmer for mood, paint walls relaxing/calming colors, artwork and posters should add to harmony, a mirror well placed (NOT opposite your bed), bed facing bedroom door for best energy (avoid a window behind the headboard), plants to soften sharp corners/edges as you see fit. Good luck, CSP!

My bedroom faces a fence, so I get very little sunlight.
Do you have any suggestions on what sort of lighting, plants, accessories etc. I could use to help brighten my room?

Many plants brought …
Many plants brought indoors can bring fungus or insects indoors, too. The best recommendation we can make is to clip off some leaves or part of an infested branch and place it in a plastic zip-lock baggie. Bring it in to a local garden store or nursery and have them recommend a product (usually a spray or a wash) that can specifically treat what you have. Thanks for watching, and good luck! Best, Jay
